“It’s like a steampunk Zeppelin crash-landed in a fairy forest.”
This is stunning. There are tons more pictures at the link, and they even list out their music for the ceremony! That’s when I almost lost it. I love how creative they were with every little detail.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
30 Days of New Doctor Who | 07. Favorite Episode (“Vincent and the Doctor”)
Yes, I skipped Day 06, which was the least favorite character day. I decided I didn’t need any negativity of that kind on my Tumblr, so I skipped ahead to the next day. With that said, my extreme love for this episode cannot be put into accurate words. It is just perfection. I knew this was going to end up being an emotional episode, but I never imagined that it would have the effect on me that it did. It didn’t glorify depression or devalue Van Gogh’s suicide, in my opinion, but it did give one of the most heartfelt and emotionally real episodes that I’ve seen, especially where this show is concerned. While the alien metaphor was a tad heavy-handed, I can’t even really complain about it, because everything else was so lovely and delightful. I cannot say enough good things about this episode.
