If I had a dollar for every time I’ve felt more emotions towards a fictional character than I do towards people I know in real life, I would probably have enough money to pay for the psychiatric help I obviously need.

the universe has a cruel sense of humor
I haven’t spilled any liquid since that bottle of diet Coke three weeks ago — which was on the hardwood floor (easily mopped up, and diet = no stickiness) — but just now I knocked over an entire glass of red wine. On the couch. Where I’m not supposed to be consuming anything except oxygen.
… at least the couch was already dark red? I think I’ll pull a Phoebe and turn the cushion over and pray that my parents don’t notice.
And it’s a shame about the wine.
